From that terrible night on October 12, 2002 came heartbreaking tales of loss, unimaginable terror, and inspiring acts of bravery and survival. It changed us as a nation, as we grappled with the fact that we were not isolated from terrorism and were, in fact, targets. Through the stories of just a handful of people who were caught up in the horror, we hope to pay tribute and remember all those who suffered in so many different ways as a result of those unconscionable acts.
