Looking at the sprawling 1,750-square-foot terrace on the stern on the 180-foot X-Easy, you might think the “X” stands for extra, as in “Extra Easy.” But designer Stefano Pastrovich, a longtime pilot and fan of aeronautic design, puts an X in front of all of his concepts, just like some aircraft manufacturers do.
While the X-Easy has aerodynamic curves, the designer’s primary goal was to create a palatial beach house.
Many builders have jumped on the “beach house” concept, with simpler, less formal interiors, but X-Easy’s massive cockpit terrace, complete with a barbecue fire pit, joining to the 550-square-foot swim platform establishes a new paradigm.
