The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show docks were packed slip-to-slip with new models from midsize to mighty—far too many to cover in this space or even in a whole issue or 12, for that matter. Swan 128 / Maxi Line Flagship The relationship that architect Germán Frers has with the Swan shipyard spans 40 years and includes 13 new yachts in the past decade alone. FALCON Tenders’ Solas 660 was created for a Damen Xplorer 60. The Solas 660 is built from fiberglass and resin using carbon-foam sandwich construction. Ruwe’s company, EWake Germany, had been making highly customized, electric-powered boards since 2020. The boat builder wanted a version that would be available exclusively to owners of Sialia’s yachts, which are fully electric themselves. ¶ “They wanted a special design,” Ruwe says. “If you look at Sialia boats, you can get a harmonized design in these boards.
