there is one divide in my book club (21 years and still going strong), and it’s between those who like true adventure books and those who don’t. I’ve always been one of the latter. I’ve never understood why someone would want to climb a mountain they’d possibly have to bite their own toes off to get down again. It just doesn’t make sense in a world where there are couches, books, family and friends. Why would you leave all that behind to deliberately put yourself somewhere cold and dangerous? WINNING LETTER Just now… I procrastinated about reading your article about procrastination. Then I made myself read it by telling myself I couldn’t read more of my FAIRLADY if I hadn’t first read the whole thing. Then, mid-way, I decided it was ridiculous to be a procrastinator, so I surrounded myself with the necessary forms and statements needed to make a medical aid claim I had been procrastinating about for weeks. Then I procrastinated again about doing that and only completed it hours later when I had peeped ahead and knew I wanted urgently to read the next article. When I had finished reading it I knew I was the Defier type of procrastinating procrastinator, and I just hope strategies 4 and 5 help me. I’m going to do it……
