That was the question at Panama’s Tropic Star Lodge when photographer Hannes Ribbner snapped this image of a black marlin airing it out behind Island Star. “They hooked the fish on a live bonito,” he says, “but once I started looking at the photos, I realized that the marlin had an old, faded lure hooked to it as well.
