IN THE SPOTLIGHT SCOTT KYLE ESCORT RS TURBO Scott’s S2 was the official ‘car of the show’ after a vote. And no wonder! It basically looks like a brand new car! Three years ago, it didn’t though! As this is when he bought it from the previous owner who had left it lying in a garage since 2001. Scott admits it wasn’t actually that bad, but still proceeded to fully strip the Escort, get it on a spit and give it a thorough going over. FASTEST FWD FORD While the show day is Sunday, many show-goers camp overnight and make use of a Ford-only RWYB session from 5pm on Saturday evening. And this year, something pretty special happened… The first run of Ford-only session saw Phil Reeves line up on the start line in his mental Mk2 Fiesta. Fresh from winning the FWD drag series, Phil had one goal in his mind for the weekend, to become the fastest ever front-wheel drive Ford in Europe.
