When Drew Barrymore first visited the GH Beauty Lab, it was easy to forget she was a movie star. The down-to-earth mom acts more like a best friend than a Hollywood A-lister or the CEO of her own makeup line, Flower Beauty. And her passion for finding luxe products at affordable prices (she helps create and actually wears the makeup herself ) is surpassed only by her commitment to her family. Given that her own upbringing was so unconventional, she’s made a point of establishing a consistent, loving environment for her two girls. The offices of Flower Beauty, Drew Barrymore’s luxe-for-less makeup line, are pristine: white walls, light wood floors, glass partitions and a garden’s worth of flowers — fuchsia peonies, purple hydrangeas and champagne snapdragons — sprayed across the conference room table. The place is so cheerful, so Drew, that three separate people chirp “Happy Friday!” as guests enter.
