HOW WE TESTED The Lab assessed 57 new creams, sending our top 12 to 264 real women for a four-week at-home evaluation. Our scientists also took before-and-after measurements and images of testers’ skin to gauge changes in firmness, hydration, wrinkles, texture and hyperpigmentation. WINNER HERO HYDRATOR With moisturizing glycerin and the skin-protecting antioxidant resveratrol (derived from grapevines), this Caudalíe cream came out on top for hydrating and improving skin’s texture. TESTER NOTES Six reported how “smooth” the cream felt as it went on and made their faces feel. “It moisturized my skin into the morning,” one raved. “I woke up looking refreshed,” another said.
