When I joined Harper’s Bazaar as editor in chief 16 years ago, I dreamed of one day throwing the most wonderful party to which everyone was invited. I finally got my wish this spring, with gala events to celebrate Bazaar’s 150th anniversary. Marking such a momentous milestone was going to require something truly monumental, like emblazoning the iconic Empire State Building with some of the magazine’s most unforgettable photographs. Which is exactly what we did during our party at the historic Rainbow Room, cohosted by Tiffany & Co.
