The Westfield is one of 18 homes in Omar’s luxury lodge range - and much of this home’s popularity is down to its affordability and size options, as well as its appealing contemporary styling using stunning terracotta as an accent colour. On the bank of the River Derwent, just five miles from York, is a residential park with all the benefits of countryside living, yet close to a magnificent and vibrant city. A new park that is being created in the Peak District of Derbyshire, Swallowholme Grange is on the edge of the village of Bamford, in the Hope Valley. Walking opportunities are numerous from this park, which is a five-minute drive from Hathersage, on the north bank of the River Derwent, where there is a heated outdoor swimming pool. A golf course is close by, as is a 24-hour mini-market. Bamford has a pub that also houses a Post Office. The village also has a bakery, and the Hope Valley Garden Centre is close to the park. You may never have heard of the small Essex village of Althorne — but you’ll certainly be familiar with Chelmsford. Little-known Althorne is just under 15 miles from Chelmsford. It’s north of the meandering River Crouch, with its inlets and marshland that are perfect walking territory. Burnham-on-Crouch is just three miles from Althorne. This area is brilliant for both sailing and fishing, and there are several golf clubs in the region.
