After a catastrophic fire in November 2021 which either destroyed or seriously damaged much of the machinery used to manufacture bullets, the Woodleigh Bullets factory, located near Murrabit in Victoria, Australia, is again on the verge of resuming production.
Previously, Woodleigh manufactured a wide range of bullets for many rare and hard-to-find calibres, and in some instances, they were the only source of bullets for some of the rarest calibres. Although Woodleigh will no doubt manufacture many of these products again, it will be some time before the full range is in production. For now, the focus is on popular cartridges, and production is set to resume shortly with .375”-calibre bullets for the local Australian market as well as for export to overseas customers such as Norma from Sweden.
