Alfred Tennyson wrote, “Many, many welcomes, February Fair-Maid”. For me, the snowdrop is the first sign that spring is on her way. Their small bowed heads dance in the winter’s wind with so much joy and a promise of what spring has to offer. I have wanted to stitch snowdrops in silk ribbon for a while now and I do hope this design does them justice.
