All serious hunters love hunting dangerous game, but for obvious reasons, this is a pastime that doesn’t always lie within everyone’s reach. So, to afford ourselves at least some gratification, we turn to hunting what we perceive to be our own version of big game. For example, apart from the evident dangers of hunting a huge elephant bull, getting close to a large giraffe bull can provide a remarkably similar experience because of its enormous size. Likewise, stalking a big, lone eland bull in the thick stuff can certainly be as difficult as hunting old dagga boys.
