After last month’s mega round-up of new models from all the top European brands, it’s pleasing to see that Bailey has enhanced its arsenal to compete with them with an enhanced Adamo range for 2025. We can’t wait to see what else the UK industry has in store for the upcoming season but, in the meantime, we’re also about to jet off to Düsseldorf for the Caravan Salon, where there are sure to be some surprises (including rumours of an €800,000 campervan!). UK pricing has been announced for the new Citroën Holidays campervan, with first customer deliveries expected later this year. On the road pricing for the new model starts from just £56,590. Citroën has partnered with Slovenian van conversion company, Bravia Mobil, to create its new campervan, using the SpaceTourer people-carrier as its base. It comes with a pop-up roof with upper double bed and its sliding bench seat can be converted into another double. The bench can also be removed, while blinds on the windscreen and side windows ensure blackout. Externally, it displays the brand’s new design identity and logo, with a redesigned front end, along with 17in diamond cut alloy wheels. Five exterior colours will be available: Icy White, Perla Nera Black, Cumulus Grey, Titanium Grey and Kapari Green.…
Marquis Leisure, the UK’s largest dealer network, has announced the return of Elnagh Baron motorhomes to the UK market. The range, which is exclusive to Marquis, has not been imported here since 2009. The latest Elnagh motorhomes come with a choice of four layouts, each said to offer “exceptional value for money”. All are based on the latest Peugeot Boxer with a 2.2-litre 140hp motor and manual gearbox. The Baron series will feature a comprehensive standard specification, including a fully equipped kitchen complete with hob, grill and oven, as well as a Truma gas/electric heating system and the habitation door on the UK side. Lancashire-based Landseer Leisure has announced its latest campervan, based on the new Ford Transit Custom. The Landseer Custom 2.0 made its debut at the Norfolk Motorhome and Campervan Show and is available now, with prices starting at £77,900 (136hp, six-speed manual gearbox). Vehicles will be first registered to customers as an M1 Motor Caravan and come with a three-year warranty (limited to 40k miles on the conversion, 100k miles on the base vehicle). The new camper has a classic side kitchen layout and an SCA pop-top roof with TÜV approval, as well as a crash-tested German sliding seat system (with Isofix) that can be locked into position anywhere along its rails. The conversion is gas-free with a 100Ah lithium power system with dual 12V and 2.5kW 230V power for off-grid capability.…
Ford is expanding its new-generation Nugget campervan range, developed in partnership with Westfalia, to include Active, long-wheelbase and hybrid models. The new Transit Custom Nugget Active builds on the Titanium launch specification with SUV-inspired styling, including a bold grille, black plastic rocker panels, exterior cladding, unique 17in machined alloy wheels, and LED tail lights. Meanwhile, the interior features a durable, water-resistant seat fabric. A Driver Assistance Pack comes as standard and adds Pre-Collision Assist, Reverse Brake Assist and Blind Spot Information System as well as Adaptive Cruise Control. Like the Titanium model, the Active can be specified with an optional all-wheel drive system combined with the 170hp EcoBlue diesel engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. As well as the return of the Italian Elnagh brand to the UK, Marquis Leisure has announced revised Benimar models from Spain and the first Mobilvetta campervan to come to the UK, all scheduled to make their debut at the NEC this autumn. For 2025, Benimar’s Benivan campervan range (based on the latest Fiat Ducato) gets M+S Camping tyres, a Midi Heki rooflight over the dinette, removable carpet for living area, a 200W solar panel, an additional berth in the front dinette and new fabrics. In the Fiat-based Mileo coachbuilt range, the big news is the 294 model (above left) adopting side settees in place of the current dinette.
